the 7th National Polar Sciences Symposium and the 3rd Polar Festival

History:

In 2019, with the founding of TÜBİTAK MAM KARE, our country established a central scientific organisation to serve as the primary umbrella for all aspects of polar sciences. Annually, the 'National Polar Sciences Symposium' serves as a platform where Turkish scientists present and evaluate their polar research projects, discuss the outcomes of scientific expeditions, and deliberate on advancements. Concurrently, the 'Polar Festival' aims to bridge the gap between polar science studies and the younger generation, emphasizing educational and awareness-building aspects.
