Update from Southern Ocean Observing System

Southern Ocean Observing System (SOOS), whose mission is to facilitate the collection of key observation data on the dynamics and changes of the Southern Ocean systems and the sharing of the data by all international stakeholders (researchers, governments and institutes), is a joint international initiative of the Scientific Committee on Antarctic Research (SCAR) and the Scientific Committee on Oceanic Research (SCOR).
